User device
The user carries their own Android smartphone in their pocket, which, therefore, acts as the core hub and power source for the system. Then, a cable connects the smartphone to Phonecam, supplying continuous energy while simultaneously enabling the camera to function. Additionally, the Android smartphone manages network connectivity, displays the control interface, stores contacts, and integrates AI features in order to improve the user experience.
Body Camera
The Phonecam is the central device of the system and the company’s flagship product. Specifically, it is worn on the user’s chest and connected to the smartphone via cable. In addition, the camera is compact and easy to use, featuring a single activation button, an LED indicator, a microphone, and a magnetic mounting system. Consequently, when the button is pressed, the Phonecam records live audio and video, which are then transmitted immediately to the user’s smartphone. As a result, users remain connected and fully supported in real time, ensuring both convenience and safety.
Emergency Notification
In an emergency, pressing the Phonecam’s button immediately triggers an automatic alert to the user’s designated emergency contacts. Consequently, they receive a notification showing live video, audio, and the user’s real-time location, allowing them to take immediate action. Additionally, the live feed keeps contacts informed throughout the incident, ensuring a faster and more coordinated response.
Control Room
The control room serves as a centralized support center. From this hub, incidents can be managed, teams coordinated, emergency services notified, and all video and audio recordings securely stored. Moreover, this arrangement adds an extra layer of safety while simultaneously enabling efficient monitoring and effective management of every situation.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if my smartphone runs out of battery while using Phonecam?
Phonecam is powered directly by your smartphone, so if your phone runs out of battery, the camera will stop working. To avoid this, we formerly recommend keeping your phone charged or carrying a power bank. The benefit of this design is that Phonecam never needs to be recharged separately. Therefore, if your phone is ready, your Phonecam is too.
Does Phonecam work without being connected to my smartphone?
No. Phonecam is intentionally designed to rely on your smartphone for power, connectivity, and storage. This makes the device lighter and more compact, while being able to use your phone’s 4G/5G, GPS, and AI features. Hence, all management is done through the dedicated Phonecam app.
How quickly do my emergency contacts receive the alert?
Instantly. From the moment you press the activation button, your contacts immediately receive a notification with live video, audio, and your location. This quick alert ensures trusted people can take action right away.
Does PhoneCam work on iOS and Android?
PhoneCam is currently available on Android devices. Nevertheless, our team is actively working on an iOS version, which will be available soon, ensuring the best possible experience for all users.
What happens if I lose internet connection during an emergency?
If your Wi-Fi or 4G/5G connection is lost, real-time video and location data will no longer update. The map will show your last known position, and your contacts may temporarily lose the live stream. However, Phonecam continues recording locally on your phone, and once the connection is restored, the video is automatically uploaded to the Control Room.
Who has access to my live video and audio when I press the button?
Only the emergency contacts you select in the Phonecam app (and, if enabled, the Control Room) can view your transmissions. All data is encrypted, and you stay in control of who has access.
Where are my recordings stored and can I access them?
Recordings are securely stored on your smartphone through the Phonecam app and, if active, in the Control Room system. You can review them anytime from your phone, while the Control Room provides backup and secure archiving.
Is Phonecam resistant to movement and daily use?
Yes. Phonecam’s magnetic mount keeps it firmly attached to your chest during activity, and its durable build is made for everyday use. It is splash-resistant and reliable in typical outdoor conditions.
